Residents in financial difficulty can apply for mortgage assistance through the Town of Coral Springs.
As part of the Community Block Grant Program, the city received a federal funding allocation from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide mortgage assistance to homeowners.
If granted, assistance will be provided with past due mortgage payments, escrow or other charges from April 1, 2020 to date. Financial assistance must be paid directly to the service provider / lender and is limited to a maximum amount of $ 10,000 per owner.
To be eligible, residents must own a home in Coral Springs and provide documentation about lost income, reduced work hours, or unemployment, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has contributed to missed mortgage payments , Escrow or HOA Payments. See other eligibility conditions.
Applicants must achieve a gross annual income not exceeding 80% of the Area Median Income Limits (AMI) established by the HUD for Broward County jurisdiction.
To apply, print (front) in color application. Complete the application in blue or black ink and make copies of all required documents. If it is impossible to print, the file will be available at the town hall. Download the app.
