Emergency Mortgage Assistance Portal Opens for Seminole County Residents

Seminole County opened a rental/mortgage application center Monday to help community members who are having trouble with technology. The opening of the site at 520 West Lake Mary Boulevard is aligned with the opening of the Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program. The program is supported by $1.6 million in Community Development Block Grants – Coronavirus Fund. It allows county residents to get grants for expenses related to their mortgage and/or utility assistance after experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. Funding is available for approximately 300 households. Those who apply are not required to repay the money they receive through the program. To apply, click here. Only completed applications will be considered, although completed forms do not guarantee assistance.   • Current mortgage statement and March 2020 mortgage statement
  • Documentation of income for the last 90 days
  • Asset documentation for the last 6 months
