HANCOCK COUNTY – Assistance is available with rent and mortgage payments from state and local sources.

The Indiana COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program will provide up to $500 in assistance for four months, totaling a maximum of $2,000 to eligible tenants to help cover past and current rent payments or fees delay. For more information, visit indianahousingnow.org.

The Hoosiers Hardest Hit Fund program can provide relief to eligible Indiana homeowners up to $30,000. For more information, call 1-877-281-1488 or visit 877gethope.org.

Township administrators in Hancock County may be able to provide financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, medical expenses and cremation.
